Choosing the right blade
COMBO/METAL
WOOD
STYRENE

Ultramitre Blades with this 2 tooth cutting pattern produce
outstanding results when cutting metal or wood. The cutting edge is more robust and can extend service life by more than 30% when cutting abrasive Compo finishes, Plantation
Pine™, Bonanza Wood™ and MDF substrates.

Ultramitre blades with this tooth pattern produce excellent results on :

• Hard and Soft Woods
• Lacquered, Stained or   Painted Finishes
• Compo or Gesso with   Gloss or Ornate   Finishes
• Foil or Paper-Wrapped   Finishes on: Wood, MDF,   Plantation Pine™ &   Bonanza Wood™
• PVC Substrates

Ultramitre blades with this 2 tooth pattern produce perfect results when cutting styrene
from all manufacturers. In addition, Ultramitre styrene blades are less than 1/2 the price of hollow face blades available from some machine manufacturers.
These blades will perform adequately in short run quantities of styrene. Not for use on metal applications.   Plantation Pine™ is a registered trademark of TI Industries.
Bonanza Wood™ is a registered trademark of Framerica.
Sharp Tips for Cutting

• Blades with more
  teeth will produce
  less chipping on
  very sensitive
  finishes.

• In most cases, if
  the finish is
  extremely soft,

 hard or sensitive,
  a wood blade will
  work better.

• Cutting compo and   gesso mould
  causes blades to
  dull faster  than
  wood or metal   moulding.

• Cutting large profile   moulding causes
  blades to dull faster
  than smaller
  profiles.

• We recommend
  cutting of metal   moulding with
  blades of 12"
  diameter or less.

• Lubricant should be   used frequently
  when cutting metal   moulding.

• If a blade suddenly   performs poorly, a
  tooth or the blade
body may be bent.   Ultramitre can
  typically repair
  these problems   and restore your
  blade to like-new   performance.
